HOW TO WRAP
Start by placing the logo at the centre, against your body.
Cross the two pieces behind your back and bring each side up and over your shoulders. Try to avoid twisting it.
Tuck the two pieces under the section with the logo and pull down, keeping the tension.
Cross the pieces and bring them around your waist. Cross again behind your back, keeping the tension.
Wrap it around you until you run out of fabric and tie a double knot.
You can put your baby into the wrap.
HUG HOLD (NEWBORN AND UP)
Hold your baby over one shoulder.
Tuck your baby’s one leg through the piece closest to your body. Make sure you spread the fabric wide over baby’s bottom and back.
Then tuck your baby’s other leg into the other shoulder piece. Again, cover the fabric out over bottom and shoulder. The fabric should be spread out to the hollow of your baby’s knees.
Pull the logo piece up and tuck baby’s legs through this middle piece and spread up over baby’s body (bottom to neck). Baby’s feet can be inside or outside fabric and knees pulled up. Baby should be close enough to kiss.
NOTE: If your newborn baby prefers to be in the ‘fetal position’ with legs pulled up, you can place baby in the wrap without separating their legs. Slide your baby in the one pocket closest to you. Make sure you spread the fabric wide over baby’s bottom, back and shoulders. Cover baby with the other shoulder piece, again spread the fabric. Pull the logo piece over baby to cover the back of neck. Legs should be pulled up in the ‘M’ position. Baby should be close enough to kiss.
HIP HOLD (5 MONTHS +)
Firstly decide on which hip you want to carry the baby. Place the shoulder section closest to the body, on the side you want to carry baby.
Shift the shoulder pieces so that the cross (x) is close to the side (and not middle).
Tuck your baby’s one leg through the piece closest to your body, so baby sits on the hip. Make sure you spread the fabric wide over baby’s bottom and back. Tuck your baby’s other leg into the other shoulder piece.
Cover the fabric out over bottom and shoulder. The fabric should be spread out to the hollow of your baby’s legs. Then pull the logo piece up and spread over baby’s body. Baby now sits on the hip, with fabric covering the shoulder(s).
